Those close to the chairman knew not to take his emotions at face value; they knew he was dour(like dolorous / sad) when he seemed joyous and (i) __________ when he seemed comfortable (blank is filed with antonyms).
A. restive -- restless
B. nonchalant (i dnnt know it meaning)
C. thorough ( not sutable)
D. dormant (sitting ideal )
E. plaintive ( sad , remorse , one who has complain in cort)
