Transition from GMAT to GRE

Hi guys,
New to this forum! Great to meet you all.
Given the uncertainty as to when GMAT test centers would open, I'm actually thinking of taking the online GRE instead of the GMAT.
So.. I took a mock test on ETS (without GRE prep) and scored a 160 Quant and 149 Verbal (309 total) -- and my goal is hopefully a 328-330.
Another reason as to why I am switching is I think I can tackle vocabulary better than sentence correction once I put the time and effort in memorizing these words.
Given the timeframe, I'm looking into taking the test on June (at the latest)... as I plan to apply to schools on September.
Is an increase of about 20 points possible in about a month and a half? Will be allotting 2-3 hours of study time during weekdays & 8 hours on weekends.
Also, I'm looking into Magoosh or EmpowerGRE as possible prep options to help.
Any advice/inputs will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Those are pretty solid scores, given that you haven't prepared yet!
If you can put in 20 to 25 hours per week, then a 20-point score increase is possible (start building your vocabulary today!!).
