Hi all,
I've taken the decision to take the GRE for my MBA application instead of the GMAT after 6+ months studying for the GMAT.
Any suggestion on how to start preparing? I've taken the first free mock test by ETS and scored 161 on both Quant and Verbal with absolutely zero preparation (discounting my GMAT studies). I also have finished
Kaplan's GRE Prep plus Verbal and am currently halfway through the Quant one.
My observation is that the Quant materials and basics are quite similar between the GRE and the GMAT, but the GRE is more direct in presenting the problems vs the GMAT. I'm still early on the Verbal, especially on the vocabs.
On the other (GMAT) side, I've finished all of the OG books, official mock tests, and most of GMATClub's own CAT tests. So, is it safe to say that I have seen most of the quant materials for the GRE as well?
PS: My previous GMAT score was Q31 V50, while my GMAT mock tests have been at around the upper 40s for Q and 50s for V (the max score is 51 for each). I have serious ADHD and slight numerical dyslexia, so much so that I have severe trouble in mental arithmetics; I can't do basic multiplication without writing everything on paper. The reason why I'm planning to take the GRE is that its calculator has been a godsend.
Thanks!
