[B] is wrong because Temoshotka does use evidence (Lolita and Speak, Memory). [C] is correct, because the author mentions that she “cannot be faulted” for coming up with an interesting theory on Nabokov’s creativity, but she “fails to make a convincing case.” Notice too the last sentence, which implies that Temeshotka was overly ambitious in her theory.
