If the value of the given expression, two things need to be true: (1) the denominator has to be a whole number that (2) can divide evenly into 24.

You can immediately eliminate B because 12 isn't a perfect square and will leave something under the square root sign.

A, C, D, and E are now options. The squareroots of the perfect squares have to divide into 24 (divisors are: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, and 24) to be eligible answers.

Squareroot of A = 3 --> OK
Squareroot of C = 4 --> OK
Squareroot of D = 5 --> Nope
Squareroot of E = 8 --> OK

Answer is A, C, E
