Hi,

Is anyone else having problems with the online registration in the GRE Website?

I cannot register. The website becomes unresponsive. I tried Google Chrome and Safari. Safari takes me further, but still i cant submit the registration.

Any advice?

I suggest you wait.

I have just tried and I didnt meet any issue.

Same - cant register for the exam for 2 weeks now, there is only one place left at this point and the system keeps kicking me out at the last step of registration. After selecting free study materials I press NEXT and the message I get on the next screen is:

Sorry we were not able to process your request, please try again. If this problem persists, please contact Customer Service with the following reference number.

Reference Number:XXXXXXXXXXXX

I wrote to GRE Support and all they recommended is to use the latest version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Internet Explorer and either using a desktop or laptop.

dont know what to do now

Ok follow me.

Clear the cache of cookies before to use chrome OR use Firefox OR Microsoft edge. Do not use IE because is deprecated. I donnot know why people still use that browser. Microsoft does not suggest to use anymore.

After this go to Registration page

for a new account with user and email and what you have to pay very attention is the captcha code which at the bottom which is case sensitive. Pay attention to the letters in capital and numbers. I made a fake account right now and it works.

I tried it buy it didnt help, still same message pops up at the end. I use Chrome at work and safari at home

Hey, for more than a month now I am having the same problem. I´ve tried many differente browsers and computers, always the same: the last page doesn´t go.

YEs, the official site

It doesn´t even appear the captcha code in the last page to cloasure the registration!

Is there something wrong with the computers I am dealing? But so many attempts !

Did you do he exactly steps explained in this official video by ETS ??



If the answer is YES and it still does not work Monday I shall send them an email.

Let me know. Try as explained in the video first. Maybe you miss some steps.

I did everything as explained, I talked to a informatic expert and he saw errors in the font code. Please you should check it out.
