There are some cases where |x| =|y|; case 1: -x+y. so Q(A) = 0.Q(B) = -2y. hence quantity A is greater. case2 : x = -y . Q(A) = 0 andQ(b) is -2y . which gives quantity A being greater case 3 : -x = -y , so Q(A) = 2y and Q(B) = 2y . so q(a) = q(b) hence the quantity is not determinable so leaves the option D
