This week Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and Walsh School of Foreign Service announced the launch of its 12-month Master of Arts degree in International Business and Policy.

The program is designed for working professionals in business, government, or NGOs who are looking to expand their knowledge and understanding of business frameworks and socio-political/economic issues related to international business.

There will be six residential modules (in-person courses) and two online components to the program that will run from January 2017 through December 2017. The residential modules will include four residencies on-campus in Washington, D.C. and two overseas (in Santiago and Frankfurt, for this coming year), and a “social action field project” to apply their knowledge and values in a real-world situation.

According to David A. Thomas, dean of Georgetown McDonough, “In an increasingly complex global world, it is critical that business and government leaders, and those who aspire to leadership roles, understand the nuances of doing business against a dynamic backdrop of political change and global economic uncertainty.”
