i took GRE general on 29th April 2022 @ 10 am IST.
i had the 2nd, 4th, and 6th section as Verbal (V).
and 3rd and 5th as Quant (Q).
the first section of Q felt very easy. the second section of Q was easy for the first 12 questions or so, but after that it felt very tough. it tested 2-3 questions on probability and SD, mean concepts each. and had a DI on SD topic. i think I lost 2-3 marks there. Overall I scored 163 in Q
the first section of verbal was manageable. but he second and third section was felt moderately tough. Overall I scored just 156 in V
For MBA, this score of 319 seems less. i may retake the exam next month.

I need your suggestion/advise:
I am currently 34 years age and working in the Government of India for the past 6 years (2015-till date) as a Direct Taxes Officer involved in taxation and allied works. Prior to this I have 2 years IT Software work experience in Infosys Technologies (2010-2012). By qualification I am an Electronics and Telecom Engineer (2010 batch pass out). I have also been involved in the teaching sector for over 5-6 years (both full time for some years and part time for other).
I have given GRE this month and scored 319 (Q163 V156). I wish to apply to global Bschools for 2023 intake for full time MBA (Executive MBA will not help me in any way in the government sector). I aspire to get into Management Consulting or Operations/Tech (Amazon, Google, etc.). But almost every consultant has told me that it is very difficult for me to get into any top US Bschools and most of European Bschools because of my age (35 at the time of admission).
I can reattempt the GRE for score improving. My profile is more on field, public interaction, applying government policies kind of work which can help me set apart from other candidates.
Do you think I still stand a chance for admission into any prestigious Bschool ? which schools should I be aiming for given my background where my probability of admission will be higher?
